It's blue,that's one thing. It's Lego, that's two. And I guess to round it out, it's a baseplate. It certainly fulfills all of it's promise! They aren't as thick as they use to make them (I could have sworn they were 1 brick thick before), but are still a great product. The flexibility of it lets you bend the board just enough to loosen flat tile pieces.I bought mine at the Lego website. They are $4.99 each, but they limit 5 per customer (both in blue and green). Shipping is reasonable if you buy 75$ or more (free standard shipping). Otherwise, shipping is $5 for standard. Always, always, always check retail prices VS. Amazon prices. Sometimes its worth paying more if you have prime. Sometimes, it's not. 14 of 16 people found the following review helpful  Misleading retail price, = Durability: = Fun: = Educational: This review is from: LEGO Bricks & more Blue Building Plate - 32 x 32 Studs (10" x 10") (Toy) As much as I love amazon, I'm getting frustrated with their misleading 'regular/retail' prices, they VERY often list the retail on things like LEGO as 50-100% more over what retail is (per lego.com or at lego stores) and then say you're saving 25% etc --- so you actually end up paying way more than retail price. This particular baseplate is always $4.99 at the lego stores or at lego.com, never $10, they're showing a 100% markup over retail.Be VERY wary of Amazon's pricing these days, they're not reliable, and dare I say, not trustworthy. |
