"Can't we all just get along?" The Gladiator has trained all his life with his sword and shield, and there are few more skilled at battling warriors and wild beasts in the arena. He knows it is his duty to thrill the audience with an action-packed display of fighting prowess, and he has proven himself a champion over and over again. But sometimes, deep down inside, the Gladiator wonders if there might be other kinds of entertainment out there. Something that isn't quite so hot and tiring. Something where you never get poked with the pointy end of a trident. If only something like that existed, maybe - just maybe - he might find himself an easier line of work!

Overall this series 5 CMF is a nice addition to the set. It comes with a new sword and shield, plus unique headgear. The weaponry is great for army building, as is the torso/leg assembly. The helmet probably would not be used much in true battle outside of the arena though. If you are a completist, get this product. If you want to have some fun MOCing, then get this product. The printing looks great!

Series Five of the Lego Minifigures has arrived, bringing 16 new mystery (they come randomly packed in sealed packages) figures to expand your Lego collection. One of my favorite additions to the line is this Gladiator minifigure.

I love the Gladiator movie and all of these medieval/fantasy/warrior-themed minifigures, so naturally I had to get this minifigure. The Gladiator comes with a unique helmet, a sword and a shield, plus the the basic figure stand. It's a very cool minifigure, and I'd love to see them add some more Gladiator variations in future minifigure collections.

This little guy provides for lots of fun. He can be used as a collectible "stand-only" type of figure or as a regular Lego character. I use him as both. I add him into some of my Ninjago play. His sword, helmet and shield are all rare parts that I love to have.
