But I loved Legos as a kid, and now that my kids are 6 and 8, we have a ball building things from my beloved blocks that my mom saved all this time, god bless her. Bought my son some Duplos, that was good for a year or so, but he ached to use the regular legos, which I feared were too small for him. My mistake! I should have eagerly embraced his interest, since it increases fine motor control and encourages imagination.So the combination of Star Wars and Legos hits real close to my heart, and I snapped up all three of these planet/building sets the second I saw them. We built them in a jiffy, and enjoyed the presence of Lego Star Wars planets immensely. (well, maybe that's mostly me) The sets are tiny and fragile, so we've had lots of breakdowns. Be prepared for that--they're not so good on the playing field. But they're a cute gift, and we're planning on adding the planets to our solar system mobile. And even if...
