It's a pretty simple set that come with the minifigures for Lord Voldemort, Harry Potter, Hagrid, and Narcissa Malfoy. Narcissa's hair is pretty unique (Brown with painted gray streaks that are visible front view). Hagrid is the only one who doesn't come with a wand/his umbrella/something to hold. The snake does not have the ability to sit on blocks, it's basically a plastic squiggle. The mushroom top has white spots printed on (no stickers). The tree has a lever to send characters flying, and Voldemort has a black cape. Hagrid is not a normal sized minifigure, as to show off his size (he is half giant). The product feature says this set includes an owl, but mine did not.

This Harry Potter Lego kit "The Forbidden Forest" depicts the stand-off between Lord Voldemort and Harry Potter from the final scenes of the book, The Deathly Hallows. This kit is awesome and features Harry and Lord Voldemort in their final stand-off of good vs. evil. This smaller Lego set includes the Whomping Willow, Nagani the snake, and a lot of cool features such as the blue flames. The Whomping Willow has the capability to launch Harry into the sky.

This kit is easy to build and looks even better than depicted on the box. The characters Hagrid, Harry, Lord Voldemort and Narcissa Malfoy are all included in this amazing Lego ensemble. I've also seen the other new Lego kits and there is one that depicts a smaller portion of Hogwarts that looks truly amazing. It's on my list!

I highly recommend this kit for your collection. It is so fun to build and the results are fabulous with the tree, snake and all of your favorite characters from the books and movies... Read more

3.0 out of 5 stars Tree branches fall off easily, July 31, 2011

Got two small LEGO sets at Border's bookstore big closeout (Freeing Dobby and The Forbidden Forest). We love LEGO and the price was right, so I got them for my two daughters. This set is particularly frustrating to my five year old daughter(and myself)due to the branches and leaves falling down at the slightest touch. After building the set and playing with it for two frustrating days, during which every five minutes I was fixing the branches for her, she pretty much just plays with the people and the blue flames. Freeing Dobby was about the same price and is a very sturdy small set, so I'd recommend that over this one.
