He loves the Lego sets that "do stuff" and this one does a lot. The back opens up so you can set up eating and sleeping arrangements, and there are enough accessories (surfboard, bicycle, grill, fish, mugs and frying pan) to keep the minifigure pair (a man and a woman) busy.Complexity: This is a fairly complex set. You build the bottom half of the camper and the cab, and then the fold-out camper shell halves are assembled. My son took care of the minifigures and some of the larger pieces (windows, wheels, etc.), but I had to build the rest. Playability: It's a bit tricky getting the camper open, but once you do the play possibilities are endless. Between the camper configurations and copious accessories, the two vacationing minifigures (so far dubbed Mama and Dada) can have plenty of adventures. My grandson loves Lego. Usually, he has fun putting it together but this one he actually plays with.
