He really enjoys building stuff with legos, but now he is at the age where he wants more action out of his legos and the Hero Factory line gives him that. We have many of the smaller Hero Factory characters and he was ready for a "big guy" so we got the Witch Doctor. These Hero Factory toys are very durable. They don't come apart too easily and if they do pop apart, they don't break. That is very nice since his action figures lose hands and legs all the time due to them breaking at the joints. If these Hero Factory guys come apart, you just snap them back together. The Witch Doctor would have been too advanced for him to put together on his own if he hadn't already put around 15 of the smaller guys together and had the experience, so it did give him a challenge. He was very impressed with himself when he got it finished and loves having battles with the other Hero Factory guys. He is a huge fan of the Hero Factory robots. It took him most of the morning to put it together but he was able to follow the directions with little help from me and his mother. The Witch Doctor is quite tall and looks really cool when completed. The only problem experienced was with one of the arms. The arm kept coming off. This could likely have resulted from user error when putting the Witch Doctor together. Overall, my son loves it.
