This set at less than ten bucks is well worth it for the 2 minifigures alone: Sharkman and a Deep-Sea Diver. The Sharkman has a full shark head (not just a "shark hat" for a regular Lego guy). The Diver has a unique helmet/tank combination that is not found outside the Atlantis sets. The underwater vehicle is designed with multi-pivot engines in the back and 2 shooting pistons in the front. This set is small enough for a child to put together in about 5-10 minutes according to their level of experience with Lego, and it's handy to tote around and play with easily. Great value for the fun!

The set 8078 (LEGO `Portal of ATLANTIS") was the one when I first came in possession of the beautiful Shark-warrior minifigure. From that day on, I made it a point to buy ALL those LEGO-ATLANTIS sets that had this minifig. And that honestly is the reason I bought this set. And another reason was that this set was reasonably cheaper compared to most LEGO sets.
I'll start with the thing I like most about this set. To repeat, the Shark-warrior minifig. In fact, it's the head-piece which is the reason that this minifig outshines almost ALL other minifigs. The head-piece looks so-much alike to a shark!! Hats-off to the LEGO designer who created this. Though I'm ga-ga over the head-piece, one thing I did NOT like about this minifig is the design on the torso and on the legs. The design is pretty bland and unappealing. In fact, the color of the design is such that, you feel as if the design itself has faded!
The set ("Wreck Raider") is a neat. Nothing exceptionally good but not... Read more

This ia a gift for my son. He loves legos and will happy to receive this. I only wish we could preserve them once they were put together.
