I bought this for my 5 year old son, but even for me the tool makes separating pieces incredibly simple. The first time I used it I was very surprised how easy it was. And it's pretty cheap (the Lego Store sells them for $2.49 + tax). I recommend getting 2 to help with separating small pieces. |
