This one is good because it has two nice little fire squad vehicles and people plus a dog and fire hydrant etc, so he can do a little pretend play as well. He doesn't need a lot of bricks yet, they just get scattered all over and his attention span is short - so this set works for a starter to which you can add more bricks as they grow.
