The name Minotaur comes from a combination of two Greek words: Minos, the name of the king who ordered the construction of the Cretan Labyrinth, and Tauros, meaning bull. Now you too can add Minos' bull to your legions of Lego minifigures. Retailing between $3 and $4 dollars, the Minotaur is a neat little minifigure for anyone who gravitates towards fantasy, horror, mythological, and just plain bizarre Lego themes. Here's some thoughts on the Minotaur:Positives: *Easy to find! If you are buying this from Amazon, you'll know what figure you are getting. If you are standing in the toy aisle of your local retailer, however, squeezing and poking the blind bagged minifigures while trying not to look shady while Wal-Mart security and parents leer at you, at least you will find the Minotaur easy to find. I have always wanted to add in some more fantastical creatures to my army hordes and this minotaur does not disappoint. The print job is very detailed and the headpiece is quite ornamental. As mentioned, it does obscure the torso print, but they do have furry tufts under their head/chest, so it is quite accurate to my knowledge. It doesn't bother me that they can't move their head. I would expect a larger weapon for him to wield, but this one does the job.
