The set features a minifigure of the adventurer character (Jake Raines, apparently), a small campfire setup, and a large scarab beetle.Complexity - With just 44 pieces, this was an easy set to assemble. My 5-year old put together the minifigure and most of the scarab with little assistance in roughly 10 minutes. Playability - This is actually a fun little set and a good value for the money. The minifigure comes with plenty of gear, including a pickaxe, rifle and other supplies, and the scarab is wicked looking with lots of creepy, poseable legs. I think they must be disconntinuing the series since they are hard to find or on clearance. It's a nice little set and he enjoyed putting it together (took no time for the nine-year-old) and then playing with it along with the other sets in the series. Nice little set that doesn't break the bank. Arrived quickly! |
