This Lego set contains two minifigures: a classic "cop and robber."
The cop's expression is a bit... Snide... And he seems a bit more self-confident than heroic.
Sadly, he lacks handcuffs or any other method of detainment, so I'm not sure why he's chasing an armed criminal around (yes, a crowbar counts as a weapon).
The robber has a good scowl, unlike previous lego criminals, who often look a bit like cheerful, if unshaven, men. The prison uniform is made to look like it has the sleeves torn off (a cool effect), and the robber's face certainly looks aggressive. The robber comes with a gold bar, some cash, and a crowbar. Now, onto the ATV...
The ATV is small, but it has some personality and detailing packed into its small frame. Unlike most Lego vehicles, this one actually has an "engine" cleverly made from bricks. It seats the policeman without too much difficulty.
Now, the main reason for buying this set: the truck. The truck has a nice scarlet color... Read more

5.0 out of 5 stars Cool SET!, December 31, 2011

For a small and simple build, the truck packs a lot of detail and is very reminiscent of a modified Ford Bronco that had the rear portion of the roof removed. Here's a few simple modifications that can enhance the building and play experience (nice that Lego provided some extra space to work with to make your own unique modifications to the vehicle):
1. The set included 2 extra translucent yellow 1X1 round plates that we added to the two empty studs below the front bumper plate as fog lights.
2. If you have a couple spare 1X2 grooved plates, they can be attached to the bottom of the truck below the side window openings to create a mini side step.
3. A coupling plate can be easily added to the rear bottom of the truck that provides the capability to add a trailer that adds to the playability of the vehicle. You'll have to use your imagination (and some spare parts) to create a cool trailer to accompany your truck.
4. We added a small antenna to the right side of the... Read more

5.0 out of 5 stars Nice Variety of Pieces and in a Rare Color, June 11, 2012

My eldest son, 5, purchased this set with his allowance money. He liked the "Jeep" like quality of the vehicle. I liked that it came with 2 mini-figures and 2 vehicles so both our boys could potentially play with this set together. The dark red/maroon pieces are actually rather difficult to find. I go to the lego store about once a month and they almost never have these legos in their "fill a cup" wall...where they keep all sorts of colored bricks. At the lego store, mini-figures are $2.99 a pop. This comes with 2 and some rather rare bricks making it an overall good value. It also comes with some "money" and a bar of "gold". The entire Lego City collection stimulates lots of creativity and imaginative play.
