Roth (Mechanicsburg, PA United States) - See all my reviews = Durability: This review is from: LEGO Harry Potter Hogwarts Castle (4842) (Toy) This is currently my favorite set. It has 3 instruction books, if that means anything to you. The set has a lot of cool hidden things, such as Sirius's face hidden is the fire, and Tom Riddle's Diary. The characters included are all good, except I must complain about the lack of Ron. Three characters (Harry, Hermione, and Dumbledore) are double faced. The set will take patience and time, but it's worth it. 51 of 52 people found the following review helpful = Durability: Amazon Verified Purchase This review is from: LEGO Harry Potter Hogwarts Castle (4842) (Toy) I have recently bought this and when I opened the package I was amazed with the size of the toy! A Must have for a Harry Potter fan. Very detailed than the Hogwarts Castle of The OOTP castle. This has the library, dumbledore's office, the great hall, room of requirement, common rooms, astronomy tower, owlery and more!! My Son was very pleased with it. Could have been better if Ron was included, But we already have a Ron from Hagrids Hut. As I said, Beautifully Crafted, Huge, and lots of minifigs! A must have Harry Potter Set! 22 of 22 people found the following review helpful By = Durability: Amazon Verified Purchase This review is from: LEGO Harry Potter Hogwarts Castle (4842) (Toy) My son opened this at 8pm and had it completely built by 10:30. He has not stopped playing with it since. I'm glad I made him open this present last, as I don't think he would have opened any other Christmas gifts. The set is incredibly detailed - including details like a Quibbler to read (with magnifying glass, so you can actually read it) and Sirius' face in the fireplace. It's a very detailed and fun set that an 8-year-old can build without trouble, and can play with for hours. |
