Punctuation matters, as does word order. This is a SINGLE PACK. The product itself uses plural on the wrapper. "Lego Minifigures" is the general category of toy. "Series 5" is the grouping.
This is a fault of both Lego for packaging designed only for in-person retail inspection, and for Amazon for not clarifying the product description.
Other products, say, Series 3, clarify that it's one minifigure.
Also, it's a random minifig. The package itself is completely opaque, so you'll never know whether you're giving an appropriate figure to your child.
Overall though, Lego Minifigures are awesome. It allows kids to do more role-play with the toys, in addition to the building/mechanics aspect.

Please note - This is a single, just one, stand-alone Lego figure. The price is not outrageous at all, and if you enjoy Lego products at all you know this. Lego spans generations, and gives room for imagination. My husband and I love these figures, and have collected many from multiple series of them. We enjoy the randomness of what figure we will get next. The figures add so much to our Lego collections. We have also gotten my nephew a few of them. He completely loves them. They are new characters to the Lego world that otherwise wouldn't be there. You can buy a Lego Building Set or Brick Box, but they usually don't come with people. Populate your Lego world, and/or add some more personality to it!
