(was $11.99 now $16.99 at time of posting.) So you might look for it cheaper at Wal-Mart or Target. Perhaps these sets were so popular, that Amazon ran out and upped the price. It is still a fantastic little set to pick up, regardless.}}}If you have a child (or are like me and just young at heart) who likes building toys and dinosaurs, this will be a hit. In this set, you get a mini-fig with jungle gear and a weapon who drives a little buggy/go-kart looking jeep. The vehicle has twin flick-fire missiles. My son wanted LEGO Dino since he saw it in the LEGO club magazine. The LEGO club magazine is definitely an effective marketing tool for kids and they want everything shown in the magazine. I bought him this set as a small starter set to see how it was since this was a different theme and had a dinosaur. The vehicle is similar to other vehicles in the LEGO City sets. He likes role playing with the minifigure and the dinosaur. He likes building according to the instructions and mixing pieces with other sets to his own creation. 3 of 3 people found the following review helpful Awesome Lego Set, By = Durability: = Fun: = Educational: Amazon Verified Purchase This review is from: LEGO Dino Ambush Attack 5882 (Toy) We were surprised that the dinosaur didn't have to be assembled; he was all one piece. Our favorite thing about this set is that it's easy to carry because it's small. If we were going to make it better we would make the dinosaur at least be in two parts so we could build it. That's the whole point of legos. |
