He worked really hard every spare minute and put it together perfectly. The directions are TERRIFIC! He played with it like that for about a day before the "modifications" began. it is now some sort of 4 wheeled police boat. These toys are Great for the imagination, and they give confidence and a sense of accomplishment. I would highly recommend it. Got if for him as a birthday gift. These Lego sets are the perfect challenge for 7-9 year olds. It was a bit smaller than I expected, but overall a great item.
