He had gotten a little Mario figure from the local K-Mart for $5 and it is basically one of the same ones in this set, side by side I see no difference. He absolutely loves his little mario, even though it essentially does... Nothing. So I justified the [...] with shipping this set is.Honestly I would say this was a good buy for me in my kids situation. Here are the pros: 1. You get a lot of characters, enough to essentially satiate a kid who wants all things Mario 2. The Figures are surprisingly well detailed. Each one is painted just like it looks in the Wii games and a few are even tastefully shaded. This part I was actually pleasantly shocked by. Cons: 1.
