He needed help to get the stickers on straight and to tie the fishing rod string. He has enjoyed playing with it and changing the design a little bit. 4 Year old has played with the boat also with very little damage.Pros: Lego quality--- but at a lego price Actually Floats Accessories include 2 men, 1 fish, 1 shark with opening mouth, 2 fishing rods. Cons: Only one string for 2 fishing rods. One of the lego men has stubby non bending legs. Conclusion: 4 Stickers need to be installed by an adult if you want it to look right. The boat is to scale as a small fishing boat or yacht, so it is not very large, but met my expectations. This is not an commercial fishing boat Lego set. It is full though. It could keep a child busy for a while. It comes with the boat, a shark, 2 minifigures, fishing rod and fish, and is a pretty decent size for a child to use their imagination with. Recommend as a great Lego starter set for a child or as a gift. Very easy to build. Some different pieces with the boat. The shark is different slightly from older versions of the Lego shark. The jaw shuts tight. Also the life preservers are different and newer than what is shown in the picture which is pretty cool. They are square and more realistic looking. I've never really had that happen to me on any Lego set in the past. |
