My 5 and 6 year old have hours of fun with all legos, but for some reason the minis are always the most popular. They got the quite a charm. I added a picture of the 3 models. 2nd alternate model turns into a truck that resembles a Range Rover and model 3 is a helicopter. A friend got her some of these Creator Mini sets and they have been a great idea! Small projects that don't take too long, simple instructions that younger children can follow, and when completed, there is a fun moveable toy to play with! And, it looks much better than what many of us come up with when using random Lego bits and pieces. I used to think that specific kits took the point of creative play out of Legos, but these are a great place to start learning what Legos are capable of, especially when there are directions for making three different things out of nearly the same pieces. These rescue vehicles and all the others in the series are nicely detailed. |
