On the borders of the King's land, the outpost is the kingdom's first line of defence. Two of the King's brave soldiers are preparing to repel the Dragon Knight soldier and his giant catapult.
Defend the outpost and become a knight

I've purchased MANY sets of LEGO bricks over the past 2 years, enough to annoy my parents. I own two of this particular set because I like it so much (and I wanted to stage a crusade).
The only thing I dislike about this set (and I'm guessing that any kid will LOVE it) is the wall behind the arch, it isn't connected to anything. This is meant as a play "feature", so that the catapult can knock it down. As a 22 year old, I prefer to keep my sets on display rather than play pretend with them, and it makes transporting this set from up high away from my little brother to the floor for him to play with it a little bothersome.
Overall I would recommend this as a gift, I would recommend this for display, and I would recommend it as a great part of the Kingdoms set.

This is great and easy set to build. It came with 3 minifigures for pretend play. My son loves to build this and take it apart and build it again. Too bad the castle was kind of small after it was finished.

My 9 year old son could not wait to build this set though he got several for Christmas. He loves the catapult and has learned quite a bit about ancient times and war tactics as a result of asking about this device. It did not take him very long to build and he has been playing with it quite a bit since. As always, Lego comes through with an excellent product- fun, imaginative, durable and educational.
