This was the one that showed up on the Lego website where it is offered for $29.99. I do not understand why Amazon is listing it for $43+. Some have complained that $29.99 is too high for the number of pieces in this kit; think about it...it's not the pieces it's the minifigures! There are 5 in this kit. And at 12 does not seem to be outgrowing it. He gives me an Amazon list for birthday and Chanukah each year and I can just close my eyes and put my finger on one and it is always "just the right one". Sometimes I think they are too hard -- but they never are -- the ones I think are too easy, he makes it then tears it apart and uses the thousands of pieces he has and creates something totally different. The thing that annoys me is that the tiny/thin free-rolling wheels cause it to roll unexpectedly on a non-level surface. But if your shelves are level, it will display quite nicely. |
